The Washington D.C. restaurant scene is continuing to grow in popularity throughout the country and as many of us know, it is a delicious city! Take advantage of this summer’s RESTAURANT WEEK, now through August 20th (some running even longer YAY!). Try a new restaurant, head to your go-to spot or go out for lunch instead of brown bagging it. Either way, restaurant week is a perfect excuse to skip the grocery shopping this week and go out to eat each day or night!
Participating restaurants are offering either brunch, lunch, dinner or all! Brunch and lunch menus are $22 and dinner menus are $35. New this year to Restaurant Week is the #DINEOUTGIVEBACK program! PArticipating restaurants will be donating a portion of their proceeds to the Capital Area Food Bank. Two full meals will be given to someone in need in the region for each dollar that is donated through this special Restaurant Week program.
Below are the restaurants in our own neighborhood that are participating in restaurant week. If you see the CAFB logo next to a restaurant, that means it is a participating location for the #DINEOUTGIVEBACK promotion. If you are looking to explore another neighborhood around 3801 Connecticut search participating restaurants by neighborhood or you can even search participating restaurants based off of the type of cuisine you are in the mood for or want to finally try! Our best advice though, stick to the ones right by us and don’t forget to make reservations. Bon Appetit!
