Have you had a chance to see Macy’s holiday window displays or the National Christmas Tree yet? Taking the Holiday Lights Tour is a good excuse to check out both of them, along with other festive spots throughout the city! It’s also a safe way to get out of the apartment since it’s conducted entirely outside.

The Georgetown History & Holiday Lights Tour welcomes a limited number of public tourgoers on a regular basis this holiday season, while the Downtown History & Holiday Lights Tour can be booked for private groups. The former takes guests through decked-out residential neighborhoods and down by the canal, while the latter shows off some of the glitzier commercial displays downtown. Online reservations are required for both tours, and each spans about 1.5 hours and 1.5 miles.
